what to expect

New Here?

As you plan to visit with us on Sunday you may have a few questions. Here are some answers to help you feel at home at the Chapel.
What’s a typical Sunday worship service like?

We like to mix a generous blend of up-tempo contemporary worship songs with traditional hymns. We typically pray and read a passage of scripture together before listening to a relevant message based on God’s Word. Both the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. services are designed to encourage you and your family to know and follow God. Come and believe the good news God has to say to you!

What’s the worship music like?

Our worship music includes beloved hymns of the faith and modern worship songs chosen to inspire our praise to God and encourage our faithful service to Him. Ultimately we worship for an Audience of One: the Living God.

Our worship includes celebrating the Lord’s Table/Communion (usually the first Sunday of the month) and an opportunity for those who call the Chapel their home to give financially.

What kind of Children’s Ministry do you offer?

During both worship services we offer Kids’ Church, an exciting opportunity for children to grow in their faith as they interact with God’s Word. Our curriculum seeks to connect the church with home life as the best recipe for helping children grow up and follow Jesus.

We offer classes for preschool and kindergartners and elementary students, We also have infant and toddler nurseries. All of our rooms are staffed with trained and caring adult volunteers.

What do you offer for teens?

Teen Church is offered regularly during the school year and summer during both worship services. Our goal is to help Jr. & Sr. High students become fully devoted followers of Christ.

In addition to Sunday mornings, our student ministry also meets on Wednesday nights for fun and games at Ignition. Teens are encouraged to bring their friends and parents are welcome join us if they want to check it out–the more the merrier!

Do I have to worry about what I wear?

No! Please wear what is comfortable to you. What matters more to God are the attitudes we wear in our hearts when we come to worship: humility, honesty, and an openness to hear what God has to say.
