Our Vision

For the Glory of God, We Exist to Serve by Showing the Way.

In John 14:6, Jesus said that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can know God without following Him. He is the Way! So showing others the way is helping people to meet Jesus Christ and to follow Him.
As we have sought to answer the question of what exactly this looks like at our church, we’ve created these four goals to work towards in the next five years:

Connect to Grow

In order to Connect to Grow, we hope to double the number of Growth Groups over the next five years. We believe that you can’t do life alone–we can’t grow spiritually unless we are connected in a group with other believers. There’s no maturity without community!
If you have a heart for encouraging others, fostering good conversations and helping people to grow in their faith, let us know! We’d love to talk to you about leading a Growth Group.

Grow to Serve

As a church, we want to help each other Grow to Serve God and others. Our Mentorship Ministry will provide classes to train believers in discipleship and ministry skills in an ongoing manner.
We will be launching an 8-week training course for mentors starting Sunday, October 18, 2020. If you are interested in helping others to grow in their knowledge and faith, let us know by signing up! We’d love to have you join us.

Serve to Share

We want to serve consistently in our community as a pathway to share the Gospel. The grace of God, the gifts He has given us, are not ours to hoard; we must Serve to Share. There are already things we are doing to serve our community, but we are seeking to do even more good works and build more good will within our community, in order to share the good news.
If serving our community is something that you are passionate about, let us know! We’d love to have you join our Serve Team.

Share to Plant

In the next 5 years, we will endeavor to plant a daughter church in our area. We believe this is in line with our heritage as an “Outreach for Christ!” It’s what our church was founded to do nearly 50 years ago.
If you would like to be involved in the planning and preparations for this church plant, let us know! We’d love to have you join our Church Plant Team.
