Welcome!

The Women’s Ministry of Littlestown Chapel exists to help women grow in their faith through discipleship and community. Throughout the year we offer one-day retreats, book talks, Bible studies and occasional fellowship events. We also have some women-only Growth Groups you can participate in during the school year.

In 2020, we are focusing on soul health and spiritual formation. You can find out more about what we’re currently doing right here on this page, or feel free to email our women’s ministry leader, Jessica Robinson, with any questions you have. We’d love to hear from you!

Women’s Ministry Book Club

Our current book is Sharon Hodde Miller’s “Nice.” The back cover of the book reads: “We live in a culture that prizes niceness as one of its highest virtues. Niceness keeps the peace, wins friends, gains influence, and serves our reputations well, but it also takes the teeth out of our witness and the power out of our faith. When we choose to be nice instead of faithful, we bear fruits that are bland, bitter, empty, and rotten to the core.

You can order the book online in paperback or in Kindle form or check your local library for an ebook version.  We plan to have a Book Talk picnic later this summer so start reading now and we’ll announce a date the end of July. If you have any questions, please contact Jessica Robinson at 410-259-8943 or jessica@littlestownchapel.org

52 Weeks With Jesus

This year’s Scripture Writing is a bit different–this year we’ll be spending 52 weeks with accounts from the life of Jesus! We will be looking at longer passages that will hopefully inspire more thought and more study. So, instead of a daily list of one or two verses a day, there is a weekly passage with a few questions to provoke thought. You are encouraged to journal the Scripture as well as the answers to the questions provided.

June Calendar

This summer we are offering prompts to help you intentionally abide in Christ and connect with those around you. Far too often we get caught up in our routines and daily crisis, and we start reacting to life instead of being intentional. This calendar is a small way you can live with purpose and intention. We encourage you to download the calendar and follow some of the daily suggestions!

Abide Cards

Abide Cards are a convenient 4×6 size to tuck into your Bible or journal. They feature prayer guides, Bible study methods and much more. You can also store them in a 4×6 photo album. New cards will be available throughout the summer so check back often!
